What is it?
SIYBO is organized by Singapore-based Touchdown Sports Pte Ltd, with the aim of promoting and fostering the spirit of sportsmanship. Through the platform of basketball, this event encourages international cultural exchange and provides a global stage for young basketball players to demonstrate their skills and tactics.

SIYBO follows FIBA rules.
Playing Time
U10: 8 minutes x 4 quarters.
U12: 10 minutes x 4 quarters.
U14: 10 minutes x 4 quarters.
Basketball Size
U10: Size 5
U12: Size 6
U14: Size 7
The timer stops during timeouts and in the last 2 minutes of the fourth quarter according to the rules. The timer runs continuously for the rest of the game. There is a 1-minute break between quarters and a 3-minute break at halftime.
Number of Pauses
2 times in the first half and 3 times in the second half, with a maximum of 2 times in the last 2 minutes of the fourth quarter, and 1 time per tie breaker.
Number of Fouls
Personal fouls: A player will be disqualified from the game after committing 5 personal fouls.

Team fouls: If a team commits 4 fouls in a single quarter, the team will be in a penalty situation. From the 5th foul onwards, the opposing team will be awarded 2 free throws by the player who was fouled.
Player Eligibility
U10 Mixed Gender: Players must be born on or after 1 January 2014
U12 Boys: Players must be born on or after 1 January 2012
U14 Boys: Players must be born on or after 1 January 2010
Player Registration

Team lists with must be submitted online through this SIYBO 2024 Registration Form

All players must bring their personal identification card or digital ID for verification

Walkover for teams not present five minutes after scheduled play

Players without digital ID or proper registration will not be be allowed to play

Appropriate attire is mandatory

All players must wear their designated team jerseys during the competition

Team Managers and coaches are to ensure suspended players aren't fielded; non-compliance may result in disqualification.
Prize Presentation​

Each player of the awarded team will receive a medal at the prize presentation ceremony

Medals and trophies cannot be exchanged
